Open Architecture Design

The modular design allows our technicians to work with the customer over the phone to troubleshoot system issues and identify suspect components. Replacement components can be shipped overnight without the expense of an on-site service call.

Worried That Your Drivers Will Not Be Able to Use the System?
AWS has installed hundreds of systems for customers over the years that had the same concern.  Because self-service kiosk units are becoming so common in today’s marketplace (ATMs, pay-at-the-pump fuel, car wash, etc.) drivers are more comfortable than ever with this type of equipment. The reality is that in today’s extremely competitive business environment, drivers are finding that businesses cannot afford not to automate and are being forced to learn how to use these systems.

In order to encourage driver participation, in many cases we can limit the number of prompts for the drivers to three or four questions.  For instance, in most aggregate applications we prompt for Truck Number, Bill to Account, Job Number, and Material Code.  Once drivers are initially trained, the procedure becomes second nature for them on return trips.

No Phone? No Power? No Problem!
If you have a site that does not have power or phone service, we can help.  The RSA allows you to have a system that will be powered by a number of possible sources such as battery power, solar power or a generator with battery backup.  No phone line connectivity?  AWS also has the ability to supply these units with cellular data modems that allow your office staff to send updated daily jobs, etc. to your remote sites and then have transactions downloaded to your office at the end of the day.  This eliminates the need to have employees drive out to remote sites and collect manual scale tickets that could be lost or not turned in at all!  This will not only save you time and money in fuel savings but will also dramatically increase your cash flow!
